Counselor/Social Worker (LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC).

Posted October 07, 2025

Clinical care at Hopewell means guiding and leading the care of a specific group of 5 to 10 residents over their typical 4 to 6 month stay in our residential community, providing one-on-one counseling, co-leading group therapy sessions, and collaborating with our other clinicians and program staff in creating and nurturing our therapeutic community. It takes place on our beautiful 325 acre working farm, and, because we charge by the day rather than by the encounter, involves much less bureaucracy than typical clinical settings.

We are looking for a master’s degree licensed clinician (LSW or LPC, independent licensure preferred: LISW, LPCC) to join our growing community in Mesopotamia. We are seeking a clinician with a preferred minimum of two years’ experience working with adults with serious mental illness and experience in one or more best practice clinical interventions (such as CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR, or ERP) to join our Clinical Team providing treatment to adults with cognitive or mood disorders such as schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, major depression, bipolar disorder, or obsessive-compulsive disorder in our unique therapeutic community.

Preferred candidates in addition will be either experienced or willing to receive training in Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy for the treatment of individuals diagnosed with obsessive-compulsive disorder, and/or be experienced in one of our other distinctive offerings—ecotherapy, art therapy, music therapy, or animal/equine therapy.

Benefits are very competitive, and include among many others health insurance, meals, matching contributions to a 403b retirement plan, and generous paid time off.

Professional and development benefits include:

  • Free supervision
  • Free CEUs
  • Free evidence based professional training

Hopewell aspires to celebrate and thrive on inclusiveness in our therapeutic community, and we are proud to be an equal opportunity employer supporting workforce diversity.
