Director of Buildings and Grounds

We are currently looking to hire a full-time Director of Buildings and Grounds to work in and oversee our Maintenance Department.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in maintenance and/or construction service.
• Experience with property management preferred
• Valid Driver’s License
• Must pass a two-step TB test, drug test, physical and background checks.
• Must be at least 22 years of age.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Assist with buildings and grounds planning, maintenance and repairs for the agency, including minor carpentry, electric and plumbing needs.
• Ensures that maintenance operations are compliant with regulatory standards.
• Assists in budget preparation, planning and identifying needs.
• Oversees Maintenance Department, contractors and outside vendors.
• Oversee heating and air conditioning systems.
• Oversee the cleanliness of the agency facilities and grounds.
• Oversee wastewater treatment plant and testing according to EPA and ODMH regulations.
• Plows and shovels snow, spreads salt on driveways and walkways.
• Operates light and heavy equipment to maintain grounds as needed.
